Thanks for visiting. I created this site/blog to discuss photography and the creative process. We all want to improve as photographers and I'm convinced the key to growing as a photographer is learning and developing the ability to see artfully. But what does 'seeing artfully' mean, exactly. More importantly, how does one go about doing it? Can anyone do it? What are the steps? These are the things we will discuss here. I'll share the insights I've acquired along my photographic journey and I am looking forward to learning from others' experiences also. I hope you join me.

Photographer, educator and aspiring writer. Most people think of me as a nature and travel photographer but I'm really just in love with the language of light and the worlds that learning to see has opened up for me. This site shares some of those worlds in words and pictures.
Superb blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there
that I’m totally confused .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
